The Slann mage priest Oxi-A-Set-A-Linn had not uttered a word for over five thousand years when all of a sudden his head shot up and his eyes bulged and he said WHOOPS He had made a miscalculation whilst channelling the titanic energies emanating from the chaos gate. This was no ordinary error as it caused the already weakened gate to breach and the chaos power to burst free onto an unsuspecting Warhammer world, The world was in ruin as daemons roamed free, seas boiled away, rivers turned to blood, and fire hail rained from the sky. Only through the magic of the Elves of Ulthuan and a wondrous artefact of the Old Ones were areas of land tames and made suitable for mortal habitation. Soon wars broke out as survivors fought over these precious areas of land, all old alliances were forgotten and new partnerships were formed as the surviving races fought for control of the land.
